I know you’ve heard this from me before, but now my site is REALLY mobile friendly. With the help of a plugin called WPTouch, my mobile site now updates along with my desktop version. It’s even got a toggle on the bottom of the screen for viewing the desktop version if you want! So bask in it, pass the link along to all your mobile companions!

I know, I know. I’ve been missing for a few weeks. Except for the occasional post on Facebook and Twitter, I’ve made myself harder to catch than a greased up piglet. (i’ve been down south too long). Its all for a good cause though.
Like most brand new Freelancers, I’ve got a normal-ish job and its been a little busy lately. I’m working on a new promotion (meaning more money for photoshop mags from the UK). I’ve also gotten into The Art Institute Online to get my Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design. I have’nt been designing as much as I’d...

I found this in my RSS reader but can’t find the link. If anyone knows it, please share!
There are many techniques for photo manipulation that are being used by lots of today’s designers in order to create stunning visually creative works of art. It is most common in designers of graphics who choose to use Adobe Photoshop. The main benefit of this is the fact that once the key factors of photo manipulation are understood, anything you can imagine is possible to digitally modify and to reconstruct.
The most imaginative to the most minimalist ideas can be conveyed through Photoshop using...

This is actually an excerpt from an assignment we had to do for school. I just thought it’d be great to pass the inspiration.
This inspiring statement comes from a man who always seemed to be at peace with who he was and what he was doing at the time. It reminds me, that whatever people around me are doing, whatever the current trend may be, I should always trust in what I am doing. It helps me both artistically & as a person on a day to day basis.
“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself; do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”

4th of July is a spectacular day for inspiration. Family get togethers & barbecues by day, awe inspiring dances of light & color in the sky by night. While these spectacles are awesome in motion, I imagine it takes skill & timing to get a beautiful still photo of them. If you’re like me & didnt get a chance to see any sky high light explosions, I hope you’ll enjoy this collection of photos from the web. Click on them to go to the original artist’s Flickr page & leave a comment! They’ll appreciate it as us creatives always do!

The new Adobe Photoshop CS5 has a bunch of new tweaks, features & tools for designers and photographers to add to their arsenal of creative weapons. This tutorial will highlight one new tool I’ve been making use of a lot lately, the Mixer Brush tool. To me, this was just a more accurate & flexible version of the smudge tool at first glance, but after putting it to use myself, I see there’s a lot more possibility here. We’ll also be using Photoshop’s new paint brushes. These aren’t the PS brushes you’re used to, these are simulated paintbrushes that can...
